Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Orders within Finland are shipped via Posti (pakettiautomaatti), while international orders are generally shipped via UPS. All items are accompanied by a tracking number for mutual benefit. Delivery costs for Finland and Europe are included in the total price and are covered by Mariia Shilnikova Studio. For shipping outside Europe, please contact us directly.

Once the products are crafted and ready for dispatch, we send them out as soon as possible. You will receive updates on the processing of your order via email. Delivery times after dispatch within Finland and Europe typically range from 2 to 6 working days, and for destinations outside Europe, it may take 7 to 14 working days.

Damaged or Defective Merchandise

In the event of damages due to production issues on our end, we undertake repairs at our discretion. Please note that owing to the nature of materials, our handmade objects are delicate and require careful handling.

Should you receive a product that you believe is not up to standard, please contact us immediately via email, providing details of the product and the observed defects (including clear photos of the damaged part and the entire product). Damages must be documented and reported within 5 days of receiving the order.

All claims must be officially submitted in writing, referencing relevant information, including your personal and product order details. If your claim is approved, our liability will be strictly limited to replacing the defective product at no extra charge or offering a refund for the order's cost. Please note that Mariia Shilnikova Studio is not responsible for damages incurred during transportation.

Returns

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 10 days of delivery. Returned items must be in the same condition and original, undamaged packaging as when purchased. To initiate the return process, please email me first at hello@mariashilnikova.com to receive detailed instructions. All returns must be shipped with a tracking code and notified to me in advance.

Returns are processed upon receipt of the returned product and confirmation of its condition. Please note that discounted or custom-made products cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective.

For damaged or defective merchandise, I will try to replace items with identical, undamaged ones, although please be aware that some of our products are unique, and exact replicas may not be possible. To initiate a return due to damaged or defective merchandise, please email me within 5 days of receiving the order for further instructions.

All returned products must be properly repackaged in their original packaging and in perfect condition. We will refund the sum paid, minus shipping costs, upon receipt of the returned items. Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Mariia Shilnikova, Pirttiniementie, 41, 58175, Enonkoski, Finland.

If returned goods are not properly repackaged and cannot be resold as new, I reserve the right to apply a 30% charge of the goods' price, which will be deducted from your refund. If the goods are damaged while in your care or if you fail to return all parts of the goods, I reserve the right to withhold part or all of the refund as compensation for my loss.

If a product has multiple separate parts, each part must be wrapped individually in delivery paper sheets as delivered to you to prevent damage during transport.

Unclaimed Shipments

Failure to pick up a shipment does not constitute a return or cancellation of an order. If an order is returned to Mariia Shilnikova Studio due to non-collection, I will automatically refund the cost of the ordered products, excluding postage costs and any return expenses incurred.

I do not resend uncollected orders unless otherwise agreed. If you would wish to receive the ordered products again, you will need to place a new order through our online store. Incorrectly provided telephone numbers or email addresses may result in non-receipt of arrival notifications and the subsequent return of the order to Mariia Shilnikova Studio.

I reserve the right to charge for uncollected shipments, even if the non-receipt of the arrival notification is due to incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer or other factors beyond our control. Therefore, please ensure that your contact details are accurate when placing your order to ensure timely receipt of notifications.

When ordering within Finland, please consider Posti's storage times (7 days in Posti service points and pakettiautomaatti, including weekends and public holidays depending on pick-up point opening hours). Mariia Shilnikova Studio is not responsible for orders not collected due to travel or other circumstances.

Refunds
I will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and send the refund too.
